Most content calendars fail because they are too ambitious. A useful calendar is small, realistic and tied to business goals.
Step 1: Choose two or three themes
Pick themes that connect what your audience asks about with what your business offers.
Step 2: List questions, not titles
Collect real questions from sales calls, support tickets and search suggestions. Each question is a potential article.
Step 3: Set a pace you can keep
One strong article a week beats five rushed ones. Consistency matters more than volume.
Step 4: Plan distribution with each piece
For every article, note where it will be shared:
- Email newsletter
- LinkedIn or Instagram post
- Internal links from older articles
